Okay time for a WEBCOMIC PET PEEVE.
You know, I’ve been a big stickler for people using proper grammar and all generally. I’ve even drawn a few comics about the whole cliche thing that different people do on TV when they can’t properly describe something, Like Hunker Down for example. But I was going through looking for new webcomics to read and I saw one of my HUGE PET PEEVES ®.
When a character says “WHAT THE EXPLETIVE?” DO NOT DROP THE “WHAT.”
“THE HECK?”
DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE.
“WHAT THE HECK?”
MAKES PERFECT SENSE IN THE CONTEXT BECAUSE THAT’S HOW REAL PEOPLE SPEAK.
