More LOST thoughts

Okay I have had more time to think about the series finale of LOST and in the cold light of day I can still say that it was a perfect ending – for the last season. Here is a list of questions that are never answered in the show that I myself have come up with:
What is the nature of the island?
Why does the island shift in time?
What happened that caused the smoke monster to exist?
Why are the others speaking in Latin?
What is the origin of the light?
Where did the giant foot statue come from?
Where did the stupid polar bear come from?
How did the Dharma Initiative people actually become aware of the island?
Why are they trying to figure out the electromagnetism?
Basically the show is clearly rife with the show-runners pulling crap out of their butts as they went along which is how I write my comics, not how a major tv series should run their ship. At least it “wasn’t all a dream.”

LOST and 24

Wow that ending to Lost was a bit hard to understand for me at first, but then it came to me and I think it was actually a great conclusion. Of course this would be better if they did a spin-off with Hurly and Ben because they totally wrote a wide open angle for it. Oh well. I’m not going to spoil it here for all 3 of you that read this post, you can read about it elsewhere.
Now on to 24! Can’t wait to rock this tonight what with the Magic sucking and forcing me to ignore watching my favorite professional sports team. 
At least I can get some sort of moderate cathartic experience with Jack running around massacring people! Go Jack, Go Magic!

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Whoa sweet! I was going to pick this up at midnight last night but at some point exhaustion catches up with me. So today I went in and traded a bunch of games in at Gamestop and walked out with a shiny new copy of my favorite video game series! Oh, it was the PS3 flavor. Oh yeah. If you want to frag with me you can add me on the PS network, I am of course, Vindibudd. Duh. Now I compared playing this with the demo version on PC and, so far, I hate to admit this, the PS3 version is a better experience. I have no lag, the image looks clearer and sharper and things just flow better. I literally cannot believe I am writing these words. We will see how it proceeds from here though.

G.I. Joe: RISE OF COBRA OMGLOL!1!!

Okay recently, like in the past year, I watched an animated DC Comics movie. Something about the Justice League or something stupid like that. And I was struck by something, there was an inordinate amount of what I call Bible swearing, words like “damn” and “hell” and things like that. Well I was like, I can’t recommend this movie to parents of young children, but this is an animated film. So I am left to think that the film was aimed at older comic book nerds, but then the plot was hugely simplistic and pretty much written like a freshman high school term paper.
This brings me to G.I. Joe: RISE OF COBRA, and no it isn’t about the government extension of benefits for the jobless. I was watching this film last night on blu-ray, and was struck by how mind-numblingly stupid it is. Basically, it’s a GI Joe live action cartoon with words like “s–t” and “b—-h* and things that I would not consider acceptable for children younger that 15 to be hearing or using. Furthermore, the extreme violence was ridiculous in that it was juxtaposed with completely straight out of the cartoon violence.
I was like, did they really make this for 15 year old boys and 15 year old boys only?
Actually, I think it isn’t even fit for them.
So my point is that, this film is too gory for kids, too stupid for mature adults and entirely inappropriate for pretty much any sort of individual who’s intellect so much as matches that of a potato.
I think the scene that totally sums up the entire mentally challenged feel of the movie is the Paris sequence which amounts to little more than Team America with live action. Pathetic.

Exercise is AMAZING

Took a walk, well like a fast walk, around my neighborhood today, with MAH BRAND NEW SHOES! It wasn’t this kind of walk, but man, it’s the truth, Vindibabe in real life is a faster walker than Vindibudd. Art imitates life for sure.
